In 1987, Glen Steinfeld graduated from The Culinary Institute of America as a certified chef. After working as a pastry chef in Beverly Hills, California he decided to apply his passion with frozen desserts back east. In 1991, he opened a small retail factory & began producing his style of Glen's style of Italian Ice was a big hit as people took notice & various foodie awards came in- 'A Sweet Reward '- The Philadelphia Inquire, "Best of Philly '- Philadelphia Magazine, "Best of New Jersey " -New Jersey Monthly, "Best Italian Water Ice " - The United States Postal Service, "Best Italian Ice " -The National Dipper, "Best Italian Ice & Sorbet - Pizza Today Magazine.
